One of the blessings of living in NorCal is its mild winter. Although we get some dusting of snow in the lower foothills and a little dusting once in a while in the higher elevations like Mt. Tam, we really get mostly rain and an occasional hail. Because of these conditions, all you really need is a light jacket for the whole season or that ubiquitous San Francisco uniform, the hoodie. And when you go up to visit Lake Tahoe for some snow, then you really need to wear thicker coats for the trip.
And despite the absence of snow, local fashionistas still wear their winter garb in the Bay area--scarves, gloves, and the occasional winter coat. Lest we forget that leather is always worn in any season.
Our eBay store has some great looking winter coats to offer this season. Here's a few:
(1) Per Se ivory coat with fringe details, Size 12, for those who love light colors:
(2) Marni space age looking coat in winter white, with a hint of metallic silver, also in Size 12:
(3) Miss Sixty Red & White Graphic Coat, Size Small, if you want Holiday colors:
(4) True Vintage 80's Ivory Vakko Leather coat with Butterfly Sleeves, Large, if you prefer vintage coats:
These are just a few. If you are a vegan and prefers faux fur, or if you are preppy and prefers Brooks Brothers, we also got them. We even have an authentic Vintage Ted Lapidus couture coat from the 70s, if you want to go back further in time. They range in sizes, length, types, colors, and textures. And btw, we are also having a 20% off on all merchandise. So if you are looking for great looking high end coats without the Neiman Mark-up sticker price, come check them out.

Eat your heart out Gaga
No one can argue that Lady Gaga is a pop superstar and a fashion icon. Her style is very avant garde to say the least and whatever brand she wears, it sells like hotcakes for the masses. With the exception of wearing pounds of raw meat of course, fans worldwide have followed her every move. The new Madonna, but don't tell that on Madonna's face or she'll poke your eyes.
Be in known that one of Lady Gaga's (if not her ultimate) favorite fashion label is Mugler, a luxury French brand that has been around since the mid-70s when it's original owner and icon himself, Thierry Mugler, was head designer and creative director of the brand. Thierry Mugler was a powerhouse in it's own rights at the same time as John Paul Gaultier was dressing up Madonna. They were competitors and their brands still exist today, although JPG still reins his own fashion house. Thierry Mugler is also known for his perfume line and women still wear them today. Recently in 2012, Lady Gaga herself has produced her own perfume herself following every other diva in the planet. And of course she named her perfume "Fame." I digress for a second; I don't know the connection but it seems that every famous person in this plant has produced more or less a line of perfume under his or her name.
Presently, the House of Mugler (dropped the first name) is still making gorgeous clothing to the rich and famous. In 2010, Mugler hired a new visionaire and creative director, Nicola Formichetti. At it last collection, Gaga was his muse and rumor has it that she herself bought the whole collection prior to the runway show. But please, don't quote me on that.
In our recent trips to our sources, we found this original piece under the original label, Thierry Mugler. Note the construction and details. It is very avant garde considering it was the 80s. And Lady Gaga will be proud to wear this one, if only the size fits. Note the leather closure in the front-a la Hermes. And see the details on the shoulders. The pockets are hidden in the lower front where the metal snaps are located. How clever!
It is as gorgeous as it is in the back. It comes as Size 42, and it is Made in France. Did I say it is rare and collectible? We don't know, however, if this was done in the fashion house during the reign of Marc Rolland in the 80s or any of the fashion designers following but is definitely a vintage Thierry Mugler.
It is, of course, available in our store on eBay and hopefully some fashionista will be proud to wear it today a la Gaga.

Malene Birger, Copehagen's Fashion Queen
Can't believe summer is gone and the cold days of fall and winter are already here. It's been awhile since I posted for our eBay store. I have been very busy for the last several months and many finds have long been sold and gone to my favorite buyers--all fashionistas.
It is interesting to note that I have been selling quite a lot abroad too!!!! Lucky me. From Australia to Singapore, and in between Italy and Sweden, and even Estonia--my favorite finds have been everywhere.
One of my favorites lately is this gorgeous flax top by Malene Birger, a famous Danish fashion designer. Ms. Birger has been crowned by MTV Europe as the Copenhagen's Fashion Queen.
This gorgeous piece is waiting for it's rightful owner from our store on eBay. Check it out as my finds go so fast these days.
And I promise to post more often from now on. Happy Fall!!!!
